STARBUCKS PARTNERS WITH UBEREATS

Starbucks will soon launch a delivery service with UberEats in 100 stores throughout Florida, as part of the coffee giant’s strategy of improving digital relationships.

“We’re always testing new products and experiences for our customers and look forward to hearing their feedback – and we look forward to sharing more details at a later date,” the company said in a statement. Although Starbucks wouldn’t comment further on the trial, UberEats later confirmed that the test in ongoing in the Miami-Dade and Broward County areas.

"Select items from the Starbucks menu will be available, featuring favourite items that have been tested for delivery,” a spokesperson for the delivery company said. The caramel Frappuccino has been the most popular order so far.

Despite having several delivery strategies in place in California and Portland, Starbucks has fallen behind in terms of delivery options in the US. McDonald’s and UberEats have partnered to deliver McCafé beverages, and Dunkin Donuts started delivery in 2015.
