Starbucks has announced plans to open its largest location to date, beating out its Tokyo roastery in the process. The new gargantuan will be four-storeys high and will take up around 4000 square metres, and will occupy a significant area of Chicago’s neighbourhood Magnificent Mile.
The new store is a Starbucks Reserve store, offering speciality items in addition to their signature coffees. There will be a range of teas, craft cocktails and fancier food offerings, all to be supplied from the bar.
In addition to becoming a tourist attraction of sorts, the huge store will also provide a space to test future design concepts and menu products.
