Following another year of successful nationwide Bronze training sessions, Lion is gearing up for its Lion Ambassadors Silver Training Programs 2018, which kick off from May and run across the country until November.
Lions’ Bronze programs are designed to deliver essential 101 education to hospitality and liquor retail staff across the industry. The Silver sessions will build on the shoulders of the Bronze sessions but take things to the next level.
The Ambassadors Silver Programs are industry-leading, award-winning education programs run by five of Lion’s expert Beer, Wine and Spirits Ambassadors, who between them, have over 70 years of industry experience. The Silver Training Programs sessions are divided up into three categories, Beer Essentials, Wine Up and Raise Your Spirits with four half-day sessions for each. The sessions are interactive, in-depth and use a hands-on approach to upskill workers and provide them with the knowledge to feel confident in their job, whether they work in a bar, restaurant or liquor retail.

Accounts, venues and stores that have sent staff to participate in Silver Training for the first-time have noticed, on average, a 10 to 20 percent increase in sales post-training.”
