SIAL CHINA TO FOCUS ON HIGH-QUALITY GASTRONOMY

With more than 2,900 exhibitors and 66,000 expected visitors, SIAL China 2016 will create a channel for quality gastronomic products being supplied to hotels, restaurants and catering companies (HoReCa).

Scheduled in Shanghai on May 5-7, the three-day event will provide the opportunity to promote thousands of products in the booming Chinese hospitality market, which is undergoing an incredible growth thanks to the rise of middle-class consumers. Much of the expansion is, in fact, consumer-driven and linked to increased demand for high quality meat, wine and top notch ingredients. China’s catering industry is also on a roll, having generated a total revenue of US$190 billion over the first half of 2015.

Several interactive events, live culinary competitions and demonstrations are set to provide value added services for the HoReCa sector. For more information, visit SIAL China website or follow the show on Facebook.
