SERVICE FOODS TO THE RESCUE

The cancellation this month of the New Zealand Hospitality Championships left contestants with no show, but it also left Restaurant & Café’s Inspire+ emerging producers with no platform. Fortunately, Service Foods has stepped in and invited the Inspire+ emerging producers to showcase their product innovations at the Service Foods Trade Show on August 12 at Alexandra Park.

“The cancellation of the NZ Hospitality Championships this year left our emerging producers with nowhere to exhibit, so we really appreciate the invitation from Service Foods to join with them at Alexandra Park. The opportunity for these small producers to have a platform to gain feedback on their products from both Service Foods and their customers is invaluable,” said Restaurant & Café’s managing director, Tania Walters.

Service Foods’ Trade Shows are designed to ignite the industry’s senses and unleash creativity, which is a fitting home for the Inspire+ emerging producers.

“Service Foods is honoured to host the 2019 Inspire+ Emerging Producers Exhibition at our tradeshow as we partner together to showcase the latest innovations the industry has to offer. We are also very pleased to have this opportunity to take part in assisting these small producers as they take off onto their next step in their journey,” said Aneil Balar, director at Service Foods.

Additionally, The Vitasoy Espress Yourself Latte Art Challenge will also take place at the Service Foods tradeshow and will see finalists competing for their share of the $10,000 cash prize pool.
