SEASON’S GREETINGS FROM THE SOUTH

The Grille by Eichardt’s and No5 Church Lane are bringing in the festive season in style.

For those looking to celebrate their Christmas do in style can book a seat at The Grille, where they can sip on a glass of Moët while enjoying a zingy scallop carpaccio. Once the entrée is complete, guests can move onto a Havoc Farm roast ham carved off the bone, served alongside crispy potatoes. Other options include a smoked goose breast with local cherries and hazelnut praline; a meal truly fit for the fanciest clients. Lunch and dinner sittings are available at $130 per person, including a glass of bubbles.

For those looking to kick off their New Year in style, few views match a night looking over Lake Wakatipu under an incredible fireworks display. Tickets to this are available at $85 for an early sitting at 6 pm, and $170 for the 8:30 pm sitting, where a glass of bubbles will be included.

Around the corner, at No5 Church Lane, guests are invited to a Southern twist on a classic Kiwi Christmas dinner or lunch. Dishes include Hangi-style spring vegetables, Horopito arancini, and Otago stone fruit mince pies. The impressive wine list will please the pickiest palette. Tickets for this cost $110 per person, and include a glass of bubbles, too. No5 Church Lane is celebrating the New Year in style, as well, with a five-course sharing degustation menu. This is available for $135, including a glass of sparkling.
