Saint Alice is the Viaduct Harbour’s newest eatery, brasserie and bar. A genre-bending establishment with a unique menu invites consumers the chance to try exciting new combinations of flavours. Conceived by the team who opened Dr Rudi’s Rooftop Brew Co., Saint Alice offers a fantastic ambience to enjoy its equally exquisite food. With its retractable rooftop, Saint Alice boasts stunning views from which to dine under or a casual drink.
Ex-Depot chef Maia Atvars heads the kitchen. The menu extends from storm clam ceviche in xo sauce to grilled ox tongue with a pistachio praline. Smoked bone marrow and sourdough bread can be found alongside a Saint Alice/Grey Lynn butcher collaboration lamb sausage with cashew mustard. For something sweet, Saint Alice offers jafa cream puffs/orange & chocolate profiteroles with citrus custard, or a banana & Nutella brioche sandwich with marshmallow sauce.
Via Saint Alice, customers can find access to another kitchen called Bang Bang China Café. In here can be found a separate culinary experience whose menu serves dim sum and dumplings, tasty pork spare ribs, and beef brisket noodle soup, to name a few.
