After 20 years with their flagship store in Ponsonby, Rocket Kitchen has revamped their brand and expanded into Mount Eden. The new location features the reimagined logo designed by Designworks who evolved the original rocket into a slice of perfection. Spaceworks Design Group completed the fitout of the new store which opened late January. Steve Mangino explained that they weren’t in Ponsonby for the foot traffic as 40 percent of their business is in ecommerce. For example, a consumer can order a cake online and have it delivered in under an hour in Auckland. Moving forward the company is looking to differentiate its food service channel from its retail. No matter where the brand develops, quality and specialness are crucial elements to Rocket Kitchen.
