RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION UPDATE – 6 APRIL

The Restaurant Association has announced that its CEO, Marisa Bidois, will be representing the hospitality industry at Wednesday’s Parliament meeting of the Epidemic Response Committee.

The cross-party committee us chaired by the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon Simon Bridges, and consists of eleven members in total.

The Restaurant Association has asked for business feedback it can pass on in Parliament. Such as, what further assistance do you need as business owners from the government? What’s gone well and what hasn’t in regard to the government response to Covid-19 to date?

Restaurant Association Meet Me’s

With a little lockdown tweaking, the Restaurant Association is excited to reintroduce its MeetMe member briefings as virtual meet-ups.

The MeetMe member briefings give members the opportunity to connect with other operators locally, discuss local challenged and opportunities, and share ideas. Now, more than ever, there is a need for the discussions to continue.

Using Zoom meetings, members will get together online for 1/2-¾ hour, where members will still be able to talk together, see each other’s faces and heat what the Association is doing.

After registering, the Association will send you more information to join the MeetMe via Zoom. Click on one of the links below to register.
