PAC-MAN THEMED CAFÉ OPENS

Fans of the iconic 80s arcade game can rejoice – a Honolulu café has opened paying tribute to Pac-man. Bread + Butter, an award-winning café, has partnered with the Japanese gaming giant to launch the first Pac-man themed venue in the US.

"Hawaii, a globally renowned iconic brand loves nostalgia and we are excited for our customers to experience this unique pop-up restaurant,” said restaurateur, Hide Sakurai of Diamond Dining.

“PACSTORE has partnered with Bread + Butter for a collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment to give the classic Pac-Man character a more modern feel, aimed at the younger generation while celebrating loyalist of the original game," Kai Tanaka of Bandai Namco Entertainment said.

The menu features Pac-man themed desserts like cheesecake and frozen drinks on top on Pac-man pizzas, pancakes and garlic shrimp. The neon décor reflects the game, and features Pac-man and the four ghosts.
