The Hoyts EntX complex will open on Colombo Street in Christchurch in September, but developers are still on the hunt for food and drink sellers.
The entertainment complex will have seven cinema screen and 18 restaurants and while interest has been high, leasing agent Ryan Geddes of Savills said they still wanted a gourmet fish and chips shop, a Mexican eatery and burger outlets.
Nando's, Joe's Garage and Cleaver & Co are already on board, as well as several sushi, Thai, Indian, Chinese outlets and a juice bar.
Developers are expecting patronage of two million visits in the first year.
