The search for the best in Rotorua hospitality is on!
The annual Rotorua Hospitality Awards nomination process has begun, where outstanding hospitality staff will be nominated by their peers for their outstanding commitment to Rotorua’s vibrant hospitality industry. The awards are presented by the Restaurant Association of New Zealand. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the awards evening on Sunday, 2 July at the Energy Events Centre. This year, the Rotorua Hospitality Awards will host award winning Michael Meredith as a guest speaker at the awards evening.
Owner of Meredith’s in Auckland and champion of the Eat My Lunch initiative, Michael has recently begun S.T.E.M nights, a Dine by Donation initiative that helps those who cannot always help themselves and has raised over $160,000 in the past two years. Further recognition for Michael includes winning the Restaurant Association / American Express 2015 Good Neighbour Award and 2015 Lewisham Awards Outstanding Chef award.
