MUD HOUSE FINDS A SWEET SIDE

The 2016 Mud House Riesling has gone a touch sweeter this time around, with an exceptional Indian summer in 2016 resulting in a bustling fruit forward and aromatic number.

Mud House winemaker Cleighten Cornelius said the increase in residual sugar “raises the volume” of the mouthfeel, but it is not overly sweet and retains its dry finish. “The shift towards a sweeter style is something we have been toying with for a while,” he said.
