Misty Cove Wines has officially announced the acquisition of the Konrad Wines brand and its global distribution.
“This represents the next step in Misty Cove’s evolution and further extends our highly-regarded organics program while bringing a strong and complimentary brand into our family of brands,” said Misty Cove founder Andrew Bailey. “Continuing this journey is something we would like you to be a part of as we look to build on the Konrad Wines legacy and further develop the distribution.”
Konrad Wines Founder, Konrad Henglster emigrated with his young family from Germany to Australia before moving to New Zealand in the early 1990s when he planted his 21ha vineyard in the Waihopai Valley, Marlborough.
Konrad Wines has forged a strong global reputation for its single vineyard, Marlborough organic wines with distribution in 19 countries currently. In recent years Konrad introduced a conventional programme with the brands Hole in the Water, Ketu Bay and Mt Fishtail which we have also acquired.
