Mission Estate has been awarded another accolade, with the 2015 Mission VS Merlot winning the trophy for Champion Merlot at the prestigious Royal Easter Show.
“We’re absolutely delighted, this is a great result and a credit to our winemaking team,” said Mission Estate CEO Peter Holley. “We’re very proud of our rich heritage, winemaking skills and it’s very rewarding to see our craft recognised.”
The award is yet another feather in the cap for New Zealand’s oldest winery, having won more than a dozen local and international wine prizes in the 2016 calendar year alone.
