KFC and Pizza Hut have combined forces in celebration of National Pizza Day (February 9th). The two fast-food giants have merged their signature styles to create the ultimate finger-lickin’ snack: the popcorn chicken pizza.
KFC’s iconic gravy has been put on a classic crust base with mozzarella cheese, topped with fan-favourite popcorn chicken and sprinkled with sweetcorn, it even comes with extra gravy dipping sauce.
At this point, the pizza is only available in the UK but Kiwi fried chicken and pizza fans are hopeful that they’ll be able to enjoy the moreish mash-up in New Zealand soon. In fact, it’s such a great idea maybe some Kiwi QSRs could try creating an iconic combo of their own.
