A Chinese-inspired twist on a classic sidecar, with Hennessy VS Cognac, cognac based orange and mandarin liqueurs, Sichuan and fresh mandarin juice.

20mL fresh mandarin juice
7.5mL clove/Sichuan pepper/pink pepper syrup
Dash orange bitters
40mL Hennessy VS Cognac
10mL Grand Marnier
10mL Mandarin Napoleon liqueur
Dehydrated mandarin

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into chilled Coupette glass. Garnish with a slice of dehydrated mandarin or substitute with fresh orange zest.
