The 2018 Madam Sass Pinot Noir Rosé has taken out the trophy for the best Rose at the 2018 New World Wine Awards. Made from 100 percent Pinot Noir, off the Claim 431 vineyard in Bendigo, Central Otago, this Rosé has also secured a spot in the Top 50, and grabbed a Gold medal.
Winemaker Cleighten Cornelius thoroughly enjoyed bringing this Rosé to life; the dry natural style to compliment the harsh yet stunning Central Otago environment.
“The fruit speaks for itself in this bottle, the dry finish on this punchy Rosé works so well,” he said.
