In a new initiative, and with support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, non-Japanese chefs who are serious about learning Japanese cuisine are being invited to go to Japan and learn. The training program consists of basic Japanese language training, as well as culinary training throughout some of Japan’s premium restaurants.
Participants are expected to be serious about learning and experiencing Japanese cuisine.
