KRISPY KREME SET TO HIT NEW ZEALAND

Kiwis will soon be able to enjoy glaze for days with Krispy Kreme announcing it is officially launching in New Zealand, with its first flagship store opening on Wednesday, 28th February 2018, at 3 Ronwood Avenue in Manukau, Auckland.

The store launch, which kicks off from 8.00am, is expected to draw in the crowds. The first Krispy Kreme fan through the door on the 28th will be rewarded with a year’s supply of doughnuts.

“Krispy Kreme is a brand famous for having fun and sharing great experiences and we can’t wait to do just that in New Zealand,” Andrew McGuigan, CEO of Krispy Kreme, Australia and New Zealand. “Over the years, we’ve been overwhelmed by the demand from Kiwis for Krispy Kreme to hit these shores and we are now extremely excited to be finally launching in New Zealand, making it the 35th country in the world to enjoy our much-loved sweet treats.”

Aucklanders will be able to enjoy doughnuts hot off the line at Krispy Kreme’s state of the art new facility, which features two production lines, which when running at full capacity, can create 4,320 of the sweet treats every hour. In a year the machine can produce enough doughnuts to stretch from Auckland to Sydney and beyond. If stacked on top of each other, the number of doughnuts produced in a day would make 18 Sky Towers.
