The 2019 Inspire+ Artisan Awards has received an overwhelming amount of entries once again, with contestants battling it out for their share of the $50,000 prize pool. With over 400 entries, the Inspire+ Artisan Awards have showcased the depth and breadth of New Zealand’s best and locally made produce. The finalists for this year have been chosen, after a lengthy judging process, that analysed the product’s degree of innovation, fit for purpose, visual appeal, taste, price point, and shelf-life. Entries received covered the full range of Food & Beverage categories, from alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, dry goods, frozen goods, chilled/deli, and general merchandise.
The competition was fierce and all entrants should be proud of their efforts in bringing the best artisanal food and beverage to the New Zealand consumer.
Winners will be announced in September.
