GOOD BEER WEEK INDEED

The 2017 Good Beer Week festival ran from May 12-21 and featured over 300 events across more than 200 venues around Victoria, including Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat, and other regional venues. Good Beer Week is Australia’s premier craft beer festival that celebrates the best of Australian and international brews through exciting events throughout across Victoria, free for everyone to enjoy.

In its seventh year, the team behind Good Beer Week made sure to bring all the best of all things beer together in the land down under. They had international guests from some of the best breweries such as Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn Brewery, and NZ's Garage Project to share their knowledge and expertise to festival goers. Special guests included Ken Grossman (founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co), Ryan Schmeige (assistant brewer at Deschutes Brewery), Portland’s Jacob Grier, and the award winning Black Pearl bartenders. Festival food was sussed by Smudge Eats and 20 of Melbourne’s best restaurants in collaboration with Mountain Goat Brewery.

With basketball competitions, live music, a brewery circus to opera, impeccable bites and not to mention, good beer, the 2017 festival was the ultimate chill out session all bottled up in one perfect package. Cheers to Good Beer!
