Calendula Cottage Café in Glenbrook, at the base of the Awhitu Peninsula, has been awarded the Auckland People’s Choice Award as part of the 2017 Meadow Fresh New Zealand Café of the Year Awards.
The People’s Choice regional awards are determined by the highest number of customer votes, with the café with the highest number of votes going on to win the National Puhoi Valley People’s Choice Award.
Calendula Cottage Café has developed a reputation as a destination café, a small rammed earth cottage well off the beaten track, and is popular with locals and newcomers alike.
