As part of the Monteith’s 150th celebrations, the brewers have unveiled a limited release Monteith’s Fresh Hop Pale Ale. The fresh-picked, lupulin-drenched, un-kilned, whole-cones from Motueka deliver a hop-tropical punch of grapefruit, passionfruit and resinous pine. As its name suggests, fresh hop brews use the freshest cones from the fields, typically within 48 hours of harvest to retain the full rich fresh hop flavour. The 5 percent ABV Fresh Hop Pale Ale is packed full of fresh Moutere hops and intended to be enjoyed today. Available in a 330ml bottle four pack or on-tap. For more information call 09 259 3000.
