Fine Food New Zealand has announced the postponement of its 2020 event. In a statement, Fine Food NZ wrote:
“In light of the rapidly developing COVID-19 situation, we have made the decision to POSTPONE Fine Food New Zealand until June 2021.
The Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health have updated their positions across the past 72 hours specifically regarding border restrictions that would make it increasingly difficult for previously confirmed offshore exhibitor participation at some of our shows, social distancing, and mass gatherings involving more than 500 people.
We support these initiatives to ‘flatten the curve’ of the spread of the virus for the benefit of all New Zealanders above the importance that events hold for the wider economy.
We are working with ASB Showgrounds to secure the exact dates for the show; however, it is looking most likely that we will be able to secure new dates for June 2021.
