A Waipara winery is staying connected to its customers online and through social media.
Black Estate have set up Instagram and Facebook stories where owners Nicholas Brown and Pen Naish will share what is happening at the winery while the 2020 vintage is completed 20 metres below where the couple live.
“That's right we are in the middle of it! These stories might just provide some laughs and distraction,” said Naish.
The winery has started a new series on Instagram and Facebook called Black Estate Today where Brown and Naish will share tips, skills and stories from the Black Estate staff.
“We're lucky to be an essential business so we can finish harvest under strict MPI guidelines. Our team have risen to the challenge while dodging many curve balls, so thank you team, from the bottom of our hearts.”
Black Estate is offering free freight for six or more bottles anywhere in New Zealand.
The winery will also be hosting a live instagram tasting on Thursday 2nd April at 5pm where Brown and Naish will open Home Pinot Noir 2017 and Damsteep Pinot Noir 2017 for a taste and an online chat. If you order today you can add these wines to your mixed box in time for the tasting.
