In aims to boost its beverage offering and grow its presence within the hospitality industry, Electrolux acquired SPM Drink System – an Italian manufacturer of dispensers for soft ice creams and frozen and hot beverages.
Electrolux said SPM Drink Systems offer an extensive product portfolio that would be beneficial to Electrolux by allowing it to achieve status as a full-service solution provider through aiding with the expansion of the company’s current beverage offering to include a new, broader range of products.
This acquisition, following the company’s acquisition of Grindmaster-Cecilware in 2017, is set to strengthen its presence in the beverage industry.
