Eden Park has announced that I Love Pies is the official pie of Eden Park. Based just a few streets away, I Love Pies was co-founded by Maree Glading and Jessie Stanley, both of whom live in the area and have sons who play for Eden Rugby Club.
“We are super-excited to be making our pies available to the fans at Eden Park,” said Glading and Stanley. “Eating pies while catching a game is a Kiwi tradition in itself, and we are sure spectators will love our delicious fillings and famous pastry made with sour cream and butter.”
Initially there will be two pies available at the stadium, Angus Beef Steak and Free Range Butter Chicken. More variants will be added throughout 2017 and beyond.
