Dill loses Michelin star

Reykjavik’s highly regarded restaurant, Dill, has lost its Michelin star. The first ever Icelandic restaurant to receive a Michelin star were understandably taken aback after hearing the news. They had first acquired their star last year, and managing director, Ólafur Ágústsson, said, “We will try even harder and come back stronger.”

Since receiving the star, Ágústsson said, “We’ve had a wonderful time, it’s been very rewarding and a learning process. We’ve tried very hard and placed all our ambition into pleasing our customers.”

“We simply hope that Michelin will come back again to enjoy our food and wine.”
