Third-party delivery will be over within a matter of years, according to the CMO of US QSR chain Bareburger.
“By 2020, we plan to leave all of them,” CMO Nabeel Alamgir said at the TechTable conference. He said that the chain was planning on creating its own delivery platform and offering delivery customers a discount of around 10 percent. Alamgir said that while it would reduce margins made from food, it is still less than the 20-30 percent cut that delivery companies currently take.
