CubaDupa returns for 2019

Wellington’s vibrant dining scene will spill out onto the streets during CubaDupa’s Moore Wilson Food Fest, held over the weekend of March 30 and 31. The event will provide patrons a rare view of how chefs cook their food while they wait. Passersby will be able to experience quality food on the go, from menus designed especially for CubaDupa and there will be no need to step into a restaurant.

Culinary fanatics will be met with a wide range of food and beverage from Cuba St precinct’s unique food scene. Restaurant specialties will be on offer, such as Logan Brown serving their famous succulent ‘paua fritters’.

Wellington’s night market will be open the entire weekend with 55 street food stalls forming part of the food offering and covering a range of international cuisine including Argentinian grill, Malaysian street food, Chinese dumplings, Italian style pizza, Indian, sushi and plenty more.

To reduce single-use plastic and waste, food and beverage offerings will be served in compostable serve ware and outdoor licensed areas will serve drinks in the reusable globelet cups.
