A drone specifically designed to locate people and deliver them coffee has been patented with IBM. The technology company has developed a drone that will be capable of locating office workers “cognitive state” and then be able to deliver cups of coffee to those in need on an “unspooling string.”
The drone will be fitted with technology capable of detecting pupil dilation, blood pressure and facial expressions, and even be able to judge whether or not people are drowsy. Office workers will also have the option of gesturing the drone when they feel that they are in need of a caffeine hit.
