Yum! Brands Inc. has appointed Mark King as Taco Bell’s CEO, and Artie Starrs as Pizza Hut’s CEO.

King comes from Adidas Group North American, and the company said he would report to David Gibbs, Yum! Brand’s president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Starrs’ promotion moves him from his current position of president for Pizza Hut U.S. to Pizza Hut CEO, and he too will report to Gibbs.
In a statement, Greg Creed, Yum! Brands CEO, said, “We’re investing in world-class executives like Mark and fortunate to promote incredible talent throughout our company like Artie. Mark is an accomplished retail innovator, and Artie is an excellent growth strategist—both are strong culture leaders who will continue to elevate Taco Bell and Pizza Hut into relevant, easy and distinctive global brands.”
