A vegan customer has gone public after an incident at HeadQuarters in which she was encouraged to try eating the menu.
Via the HeadQuarters’ Facebook page, the woman asked whether they served vegan food or not. The response said, “We can offer you the menu, it’s cardboard, should taste like 97 percent of vegan food, you could eat that maybe. We’ll cut it in three if you’d like three courses.”
The woman also said that she was offered water as an entrée with a jug for main. But that wasn’t all of it. The reply continued, “We have two pet rabbits, Pie and Stew, you could have some of their nuts and lettuce… it’s all carbon neutral food.”
Leo Molloy, the owner of HeadQuarters, is no stranger to the news in regards to public outbursts and heated rants. However, he said that he wasn’t behind this one, nor would he let on who was.
