Epicure Trading offers an exciting collection of products for cooking, serving or dining table-top, all with a strong point of difference. Sourced from around the world the collection includes unique artisan and traditional products such as Spanish terracotta and hand blown, recycled drinkware from Morocco. These are in demand in both fine dining and casual restaurants and cafés where rustic, more natural tableware better reflects the culture or style of cuisine. Owner Catherine Bell has a long background in food and works hard to source products that don’t currently exist in the market here. She discovered the Beldi glasses while walking through the medina in Marrakech three years ago, asked everyone she could until she found the company and the rest is history.

Bell’s other passion is high quality, beautifully designed, single-use, compostable tableware made from either sustainably grown woods or renewable sugarcane fibre (bagasse). She has a strong desire to help rid the world of throwaway plastics and these ranges are amongst the most sustainable available. Epicure is the exclusive distributor for WASARA, Natural Tableware and EcoTensil. Their Green Bean wooden range of dishes, plates and skewers is sourced themselves from several suppliers throughout China, which Bell has personally visited to ensure correct practice and working conditions.
