All-star Auction

Gerard Depardieu, the legendary French actor and gourmand, is placing everything contained within one of his restaurants up for auction. Last month, Depardieu sold La Fontaine Gaillon in Paris, and now, is putting everything inside for sale, including the exquisite cellar contents. Contained within the cellar alone are vintage Chateau Latour, Meursault, and Cote-Rotie wines, some of which are valued at over NZ$10,000. The auction will take place on the 11th of July.

Depardieu owns a collection of restaurants, vineyards, and foodservice related venues, many of which he has begun selling off. Recently, he has sold off one of his mansions, a deli, and a fishmonger.

Depardieu, now 70 years old, has made more than 180 films and has been critically acclaimed as a world-class actor.
